Skandmata Puja Method : Skandamata Story
- On the fifth day of Navratri, first of all take a bath and wear clean clothes.
- Now install the picture or idol of Skandamata on the pillar in the temple or place of worship of the house.
- Purify with Gangajal, then take water in an urn and put some coins in it and keep it on the post. Now take a vow of worship.
- After this, apply Roli-Kumkum to Skandmata and offer Naivedya.
- Now take out the aarti of the mother with incense sticks and after the aarti, distribute the prasad to all the people of the house and you should also accept it. Skanda Mata likes white colour, so you should offer banana to the mother wearing white colored clothes.
